Accommodation
The GGR House
4 Bedrooms
12 Adults
A cosy and welcoming base for your retreat group, holding space for 12 people in four bedrooms (three ensuite), two lounges, a wood stove, and a large, fully equipped kitchen. It also includes underfloor heating, beautiful African decor and scenic garden with hot tub and large outdoor fire circle.
Safari Lodges
3 Bedrooms
6 Adults
Two peaceful, off-grid lodges, each sleeping up to 6. They include 4 singles and 1 super-king (dividable), with a wood burner, fire-pit, deck, and private outdoor bathrooms.
Lodges are situated in their own secluded nooks of nature, facing southward to the rolling hills. Bird-song & deer-sighting are commonplace.

Host check-in is from 12:00 PM — this gives you time to set up and settle before guests arrive

Need more time? - Late check-out (until 8:00 PM) is available for £100 - Early check-in is £15 per hour before 3:00 PM — this helps us cover extra cleaning if needed

As a retreat host at Golden Grove Retreat, you’ll enjoy exclusive access to the entire property for the duration of your stay. This gives you the freedom and space to create your ideal retreat experience. If other guests are staying at the Safari Lodge field then it will be reserved.​

The Golden Grove House
Full use of the main house (sleeps 13), with four warm and spacious bedrooms, underfloor heating, two cosy lounges, and a large open-plan kitchen with dining area - ideal for shared meals or catering.
The Yoga Studio
Access to our purpose-built yoga studio that holds space for 16 practitioners complete with sets of 12 aerial swings, mats, bolsters, blocks, blankets, and straps – everything you’ll need to create an inspiring space for movement.
The Ceremonial Barn
Use of the ceremonial barn (perfect for workshops, circles, sound journeys, ecstatic dance and more). A one-time cleaning and usage fee of £50 applies.
The Spa Facilities
Sauna, cold plunge pool and barrels, outdoor hot tub – perfect for relaxation and integration between sessions. If needed, buy ice for the barrels locally at Aldi, Crosshands and store in our a chest freezer.
The Rewilded Forest
Beautiful rewilded outdoor spaces for gathering, connection, reflection, and forest walks. Multiple fire-pits and BBQ stands are available for evening fires and stargazing.
The Treatment Rooms
Treatment rooms – A one-time cleaning and usage fee of £50 applies if using treatment rooms (no charge when booking one of our recommended therapists).
The Wi-Fi Password
Wi-Fi is included in the main house.
Full coverage across three router access points.
The Car Park
Ample on-site parking with two main car parks (holding 8-10 cars in one and 4-6 in the other - depending on vehicle size - plus further overflow parking of 6-8 cars ).
Please note: Firewood is not included. A wheelbarrow full can be supplied for £15.
What to Bring
An Extra Towel
Especially handy for those using the spa area daily
A Robe
Whether it’s a dryrobe or simple dressing gown, it’s helpful for wandering between sauna and shower.
Slip-on Shoes
Something like Crocs or flip-flops makes it easy to move between the house, spa, and outdoors.
Toiletries
We provide hand soap, but guests should bring their own toiletries for showers and baths.

Once you’ve booked, you’ll be able to upload your own retreat details to our calendar through the website. It’s a free advertising opportunity to help promote your event and reach new guests.
We’re happy to help advertise your retreat on our social channels whether it’s a post, story, or mention — just send us the info you’d like shared.
Sustainability & Respect
We do our best to keep pricing fair and our environmental impact low. We ask your group to help by:
Turning off lights and heaters
when not in use. It keeps our carbon use (and bills) low.
Using water mindfully
especially showers and baths.
Recycling properly
Avoiding plastic where possible
we appreciate it.
Keeping things quiet after hours
sound travels far in this valley.
Please stick to sociable hours if you’re playing music, singing, or gathering around the fire.
we provide labelled bins in line with Carmarthenshire Council guidelines:
food waste, paper/card, plastics/metals, glass, and general waste.

Catering, Treatments & Resources
You’re welcome to self-cater or bring your own team, or you can work with our trusted local collaborators — independent professionals who should be booked and paid separately
Kingola's Kitchen Catering Service
Brynn & Llian from Kingola's Kitchen are our preferred catering service.
They offer delicious, vegetarian meals served from breakfast through to dinner with teas, snacks, and treats. All for around £35 per person per day, with custom menu options available.
Treatments & Services
We offer massage, energy work, and one-to-one sessions for your guests. See our services page for more information. Also available: a professional media package with photography and video of your retreat. - More info available in the downloads section.
Firewood
There are fire-pits and log burners within the lodges and the main house. The sauna is wood fired and we have several outdoor fire-circles. We provide firelighters as well as firewood @ £15.00 per full-wheelbarrow which can be purchased in advance or from our online shop as needed.
