Can anyone tell me where I can buy insulation material today?
I’ve been thinking about upgrading the insulation in my home, especially in some interior walls and under the flooring, but I don’t want to lose too much space. I read that different thicknesses can really change both performance and practicality, so I’m trying to find something that gives a good balance. Do you think a medium option would be enough for decent thermal and sound insulation without making the structure too bulky?

Yeah, that’s actually a smart approach, and from my experience see 75mm insulation works really well in situations like that. It’s thick enough to noticeably improve heat retention and reduce noise between rooms, but it doesn’t take up too much space, which is important if you’re working with limited depth in walls or floors. I used 75mm insulation during a renovation project, and it was easy to install, fit perfectly into standard structures, and gave a solid improvement without requiring major changes.
